Looking for ideas on a jaw drop convoy L2 build

I have a L2 body but I cannot decide if an xplhi or a 3v xhp50.2 emitter would provide the most efficiency this light can produce. What do yall think is a killer combo for the l2?

There is this one olsen led that not to many people know about. Its similiar to the larger olsen flat white 2mm but with a higher LES and higher thermal properties. If I remember right its it’s called (LE Q8WP) super neat led. Its dedomed with a AR coated small glass covering it. I was able to get 1500 lumens with a fake A6 Fet driver.

I find more throw looking more impressive than a wall of light. Maybe an xhp35 would be a nice compromis of the two options (xpl hi vs xhp50). Although the hotspot of an xhp35 is just slightly larger compared to an xpl hi in the L2.

I just finished my single 26650 L2 with a dedomed sst40, simple 7135 cc driver pushing close to 9 amps (7135 add ons) and I plan to pop in those new BeCu springs being sold here once they come in. Mighty fun build. Not a powerhouse for output like an XHP 50 would be I imagine but I’m realizing that I prefer these format lights generally be my throwers beefy too! It’s a hair more intense than my FT03 w/ domed sst40 and the dedome makes for a floral shape when <10m but that’s not what I use a thrower for.

If I can get my hands on another and if I had a Christmas list that came true, the rumored new oslon would be another build of mine. Or XHP35 HI with a nice boost

The white flat 2mm^2 is the better LED. It has multiple advantages and has the same thermal properties (see datasheets).

I ordered a few from vinh. Not sure what I’ll stick them in though.
