Sorry it’s not very clear, I’m new to the terminology. When I shine the thrunite tn12 2016 at my wall the spot in the middle almost looks cloudy with the edges even looking blurry, the surrounding spill has some of the same effect. My $10 generic crees have the same look. The fenix pd36tac just looks focused when it hits that wall.
If you check the front page, a member is trying to sell 2 BLF SE A6s for $55 shipped, with batteries. Doesn’t meet every criteria in o.p. but is MUCH brighter and by far, my favorite edc, ever. Little light is amazing! The road is about 250’ from my porch and the A6 lights up everything between me and the road and a bit beyond. If you don’t have 1, you need 1 (or 2)

Not really. But this is about having an understanding of how throw and flashlights work.
To paraphrase, it’s a bit like saying you want the sound track and torque curve of a OHV V8 engine, but you want it with 4 cylniders and n/a.
Hope this helps to explain a bit:
Throw basically comes from a large reflector. The bigger the reflector, the more focused the beam and the more throw you get. It’s not quite this simple, but that’s essentially the main factor.
The A6, or any tube light for that matter, doesn’t have a large reflector. So this is never going to be a thrower.
The more complicated bit is, throw is also a combination of LED size in relation to reflector size. Smaller LED’s typically have a higher surface brightness. So for a given reflector you’ll get more throw from a smaller LED.
e.g. an XP-G2 or XP-E2 in a tube light will give more throw and a more defined hot spot. The trade off here is, the smaller LED’s don’t make the same lumen output, so you’ll have to settle for less total output.
Take a look at the EagleTac site for the D Series lights. Some can be had with an XP-G2 or an XM-L2/XP-L. The cd number is always higher on the XP-G2 ones, but they have lower lumens.
The only real exception to this is a de-domed emitter. This can generally give you more throw but retain fairly good lumen output. This used to be custom modding only, although the new XP-L HI emitter is essentially a de-domed XP-L. I think EagleTac even offer this in a few newer lights. Such an emitter should throw about as well as an XP-G2 but offer the higher lumen output. The hotspot will still be bigger however, but not as big as a regular XP-L or XM-L2.
If you want a sharp contrast in hot spot to spill beam. Then this is partly emitter/reflector size, on how focused the hot spot is. But also the texture. A smooth reflector (SMO) will generally give a very sharp distinction from hot spot to spill beam (but sometimes be a bit ringy). An orange peel (OP) reflector will smooth out this transition somewhat.
There are other ways to get throw from a small light, but that typically involves optic lenses such as TIR or aspehric. But then that makes it quite a different type of light.
I think Fasttech had them for near that price, but they were out of stock. Not sure if they’re back or not.
I really like my U11. I swapped the XP-L in there with a Nichia 219c and made it a much better light. Its a super easy mod on this light. Now its got beautiful NW tint, still a nice tight hotspot, and TONS of output. Mine now measures 4.08 amps at the tailcap. The UI is still a little funky to me and takes some getting used to, but its okay.
Olight s10L2 baton, or the s20 if you want more output and 18650s. The m10 is the s10 with a tail switch, with the momentary you requested.
The s10 is only 400 lumens, but comparing it to my nitecore p12 (another possibility though a little big for an edc to me) its not that noticeably dimmer.
