Looking for some flashlight testers / reviewers for a pass around type deal

As some of you probably know I've been working hard the last couple months to get a decent modding service up and running. I'm finally at a point that I can take time to build new lights that I think up myself, not just stuff for other people. I have 8-10 different lights that are totally new builds, not just my versions of builds other people have done first. Even a few things that AFAIK nobody else is offering.

What I'm looking for is a couple several different people who are well setup to write reviews and do some testing. Also looking specifically for someone who is a LEO / other first responder or possibly a self defense instructor or someone who does tactical shooting competitions. If you are interested in providing a review and/or testing light builds please post here and I will choose a few to start with, I'm looking to send a few lights out soon for eval and then more as I build them.

You wont receive and compensation or products, you CAN NOT keep the lights and you must be responsible for shipping either back to me or on to the next person (all shipping will be CONUS). If your interested but are international I would be open to it but I would need you to pay shipping both ways. I would think each person could keep each light about a week and then send it on, the review wouldnt have to be posted right after that but in a reasonable amount of time please. Most of the lights will run on 1-4 18650's, 16340's or 14500's but there are a few that run on multiple (up to 8) AA NiMH's. If you physically break or loose the light I will ask you reimburse me for parts but if I light dies on you you wont be held responsible.

Anyone interested please respond to this thread and include what you can offer in a review, things like what camera you have, any test equipment, how much space you have to take beamshots (things like "a city backyard" or "several acres") what batteries you have (please specify what types of 18650's, high drain or regular) and if possible post a link to a review you've done. Please DO NOT PM me at this point, I get numerous PM's a day and while I'm always happy to help people out I'm not ready to send anything out tomorrow, probably another week still so please dont PM me just yet. If you are a LEO or you have your own integrating sphere PLEASE DO PM ME NOW!

Im looking forward to reading about your new creations. I think we would all agree that your reputation proves your competence and knowledge. Why not just build your own simple IS device, deduce calibration corrections from other established base lines, then take beam shots and post your results online? As most of us do, just post before and after measurements and beam shots along with your observations. That way you’ll be able to immediately garner the myriad of afterthoughts and advice of others in how to improve your ideas and implement them quickly. For me, that’s when the real fun begins, and it gets everyone involved. It also keeps your creations safe and at your disposal.

As for LEO’s, nearly all of my public service customers carry slightly modded Convoy C8’s + 3.04A qlight driver with the 4 mode soldered + AR lens. It was voted the perfect service light by overwhelming popularity for all of its attributes. Cheap and easily replaceable, it fits the duty belt, light weight, reliable, homogenous with everyone elses they come across, great build quality for the price, and I always have many spares should one ever fail. BTW, none ever have. The customers chose the tint, SMO or LOP and they can swap out reflectors or pills any time they drop by for a cold beer. For obvious reasons, most everyone I know will never receive a serial celled light from me unless they prove a certain level of competency and concern of proper use. If they need throw, they are always more than astounded with my UF T-20/xpg2 dedome + 3.04A qlight… and I sell many of them. Just my .02 in keeping our hard working public service guys safe and happy.
