Looking for switch cover that will work with Astrolux S42.

The rubber switch cover in my S42 has given up. Does anyone know where to get a new one that fits? It doesn’t have to be stock S42 part but it has to fit (of coarse) and also be somewhat transparent as I have a LED on the switch board.

Edit: I’ll gladly look at any source of switch covers, as long as the diameters of the switch covers are shown so I don’t order a bunch that don’t match. So far I haven’t been able to locate a good source for these kind of things.

Would Sofirn send me a switch cover for a light that isn’t Sofirm? I could always ask, but it would seem odd to me. I don’t want to order anything else along with it, I own way too many hosts and other parts but unfortunately not a switch cover that fits my S42.

You’re asking the wrong person. Besides that, there’s a ton of rubber switch covers on AliExpress.

Sure, they’re very accommodating but the communication can be difficult if you don’t know which of their lights is the one that works for you. They have a listing that I think is called rubber button covers or something, 5pc for a couple bucks. You can message them and they will mix and match and send just about whatever you want, including the trim rings or mini side switches (and for Wurkkos as well as Sofirn). They’ve never asked me for a price adjustment but I did offer that just in case. The tricky part is whether they have one that matches your astrolux. I’d remove it and take a couple good pics, get some careful measurements, include all that in the message.

The LHT Flashlight Store (aliexpress kaidomain) seems to be the best source but I don’t think they show any covers like this…wouldn’t hurt to message them. If you can wade through alibaba and find one, some sellers are willing to send free or low-cost samples. Actually the one that Simon has been using looks similar, too…

Yeah, seen those and searched a few of the other usual suspects… Those covers are all too big, have not been able to find smaller that would fit.

Thanks for the tips. Sofirn images all show black non transparent switch covers but I guess it won’t hurt to ask. Will have a go at LHT FLashlight Store too.
