We’ve added something new: a customizable backplate.

giving the flashlight a subtle, personal touch beyond its mechanical design.
It’s a small addition, but it makes the final version a little more meaningful —
and perhaps a bit more interesting for collectors.

The SK05 Pro 2 is now available. It’s a refinement of the original SK05 Pro, focusing on output and build quality.
Notable changes:
• Higher output and improved throw
• Improved overall finish and tactile feel
• Charging port cover upgraded from rubber plug to metal cap
• LOOP Gear logo backplate included as standard

Hi, Our new product Sk05 pro 2 already uses high-CRI emitters for the sidelights.

My question is whether you will be re-releasing the non-pro SK05 with the same sidelights from the Pro 2. I understand the tradeoffs (lower output, not regulated, batteries not easily removable, etc.) but it’s still a great light and I’ve gifted a few.
I bought 3 of the SK05 Pro but didnt’ realize they are not emitter swap friendly. Can you design it such that it is easy to get to the emitters with a few screws so we can swap them out? I’m looking to replace the emitters with some FFL 1800k 95cri emitters.
Thanks for your support! At the moment, there are no plans to bring back or upgrade the SK05 with same sidelight from pro 2—but we really appreciate the feedback and will share it with the team

Got my 2 SK05 Pro 2s today! Black and White. Exactly as advertised. The white one looks really glossy in pictures but it’s more obviously MAO in person, although not quite as textured as the original SK05 MAO.
The one surprising thing is the switch has much less action than the OG. When I first opened the black one I thought it might be defective, but the MAO is the same. Anyone else notice that the button doesn’t have much action or click to it? Fortunately, it’s not an Anduril light where you need to do a lot of multi-click sequences. I definitely prefer the click action from v1.

Really enjoying the v2 but I do wish the MAO version was colour closer to the original. The new version is nice looking but I don’t think it will hold up as well to dirt and stains.
Am I the only one who is experiencing issues with the SK05 Pro 2 switch? I fail to activate double-click turbo like half the time. Support told me the behavior was normal because they improved the switch function to be more durable.

I think the distressing on the yellow ones is pretty cool. At first I thought maybe it was a stencil or paint pattern, but based on a review of a few lights, they each appear unique. Pretty cool that you are actually distressing them. I already have the grey sk07 (couldn’t wait so I got one on AliEx recently) but I am strongly considering the yellow.
I do have a question - is the battery tabless? I’m curious why you include a 3000mah battery instead of the 4000mah batteries you include with the SK05.
Finally - I don’t know if this is intentional or not but the coupon code doesn’t work on the yellow one.
Yes, in a sense, each yellow one is unique.
Because on top of the yellow ceramic coating, we manually apply an aged finish. This is also why it’s more expensive than the gray one.
You mentioned the battery; our 3000mAh all-tab battery even costs more than the 4000mAh battery in the SK05. This battery is a low-power, fast-charging, and high-discharge type of power battery.
