Lumintop BLF GT4 Battery drainage issue

I have an issue with my GT4.

It has happened twice when I take the light out for extended use.

I will get to a point where the light blinks twice and then steps down. I continue to use it at the step down level, double click a few times to get back into turbo but it blinks twice again and steps back down. all is well and good, I am assuming the batteries have been drained down.

Both times when I get home and put the batteries on the charger, 4 are 100% charged and the other 4 are drained down ( 30 to 50%)

I am using Sony murata batteries. I also switch the batteries between chargers (Xstar and Nitecore) the batteries read the same levels.

Maybe itis a case just like THIS?

EDIT: the issue continues at post #221 of that thread.

You could try removing the spacers in the battery carrier. Maybe there is some issue there with contact being made.

Same issu.
Bad insertion in the carrier for me :frowning: . All seem be good, but 1 section is good and the other not and don’t have contact.
Hard to find a good pattern for don’t fail insertion, especially if you switch cell outside in night.
Only one way to me insert, use, remove, check voltage, again and again and again for find good way with this carrier.
