I received this light about a month ago, hasn’t worked since i got it, only when plugged in! Nothing but the run around from Banggood and no email reply from Lumintop. Banggood tells me that a faulty battery is highly unlikely since batteries been through extensive testing! SMH! They keep telling me they are waiting for feedback from supplier and still being verified… I sent them multiple videos and pics of the proof. First and last time i order from Banggood and screw Lumintop!! Also i watched a few different videos and every mach 4695 light , the battery is bare metal on the bottom where mine has a black piece of rubber (inside the tailcap). Also bottom of their batteries are bare metal, mine appears to be wrapped . Watched GT 4695 videos and the bottom of battery is wrapped identical to mine.
That is a protective film that has to be peeled off. That side should go towards the head because it has positive and negative at the same side. But your photos aren’t exactly helpful. Maybe show us a few more pictures of the battery.
Anyway, be careful. Having so many exposed contacts and even both polarities at the same side is a high risk for short circuits and explosions.
Do you have a way to test the battery? If you have a multimeter Id highly recommend to test the battery is delivering the correct voltage. It sounds as if there is a protective insulator on the terminal but hard to tell in the photos. If you can rule out its s faulty battery and not the flashlight, I believe a replacement can be had if you look for it. Im not familiar with the 4695 format, however I believe in this version of the mach 4695, its proprietary cell
I posted more pics, look at the bottom of the battery in the video from flashaholic and look at mine, i peeled off the wrap, they look different

If the flashlight has onboard charging, the indicator may light up but not be making contact with the battery
Yea, nothing lights up, only when plugged in. Fan ramping, everything works only when plugged in! When i unplug it there’s absolutely nothing .
Just looked on the internet for 4695 replacement batteries and its looking like theyre difficult to come by. You should really try pushing a refund, repair, or replacement from ali baba. Must be extremely disappointing experience!
Edit: i found sky lumen V54 sells them for around $35. Im not even sure if this battery will work in your light, going by the photos its a lumintop proprietary battery with the negative and positive terminal on top. 4695 30,000mAh - Sky Lumen heres the link anyway, but only use it at your own risk, it may short your flashlight. Maybe as a last resort option if Alibaba customer service leaves you stuck with the flashlight as an expensive paperweight. Again like I said, id highly recommend you test the cell, perhaps you know a friend with a multimeter. Check for plastic or protective stickers on the battery terminal.
Trust me i have been, only to keep getting the run around! I have the SR16 and i had a faulty battery pack once and I sent Imalent proof and they issued me a new battery pack !! Not there clowns, they act like I’m trying to get an extra free battery or something!! Very frustrating
I know i wish my neighbor had the same light so i could try their battery! Lol
Ok thx u will get a multimeter. I did peel off the plastic film on top of battery tho. It should read 4.2 volts correct?
Between 2.8 and 4.2 but it is typically 3.8 for storage/transport
Forgot about buying a new battery, get the thing exchanged.
From what I understand this light does not have reverse polarity protection. Is it possible you put the battery in backwards and blew it out.
No i put it in just like it came and that I’ve seen in the videos. Past 30 days i think I’m screwed on the return
If the flashlight lights up when connected to charger can never be a bad sign. To check if the flashlight itself is getting power from the battery, I think the mach 4695 has a light behind the switch. Tighten the battery tube, and see if the rabbit symbol on the switch lights up. I believe there is an option to manually enable/disable the switchlight (7 clicks?). If that small led comes on but the flashlight itself doesnt, id suspect there is a driver issue or the internal circuitry is somehow damaged. Hope this helps.
Are you sure everything is screwed together tight, if the tail cap is 1/8 turn out, the light wont come on.
These lights have very high quality control. Must be a simple explanation to this.
Yes double checked everything. I just wonder if they gave me the battery for the GT 4695 light. It was covered and the mach wasn’t on the bottom
