I stumbled upon this recently and they’re charging $150 usd for it. I wonder how well it would work for flashlights? This thing is tiny.
Say’s the measuring range is 0.15-250,000 lux (ev-4, –20)
Maybe less ideal for monster lights but apparently it’s very accurate at least to other store bought Light meters. Tell me what you think! I don’t know much about light meters so you guy’s will have to chime in.
Way too expensive for our needs, most people here uses cheap meters and they work pretty good. A precise measurement does not depend solely on the meter, but the way you calibrate it and your measuring method.
IMHO, buy a cheap popular light meter that other flashlight enthusiasts use to gauge their mod results. There are at least 3 models that are used extensively. You dont need to spend more than $25 for repeatable, reliable accuracy. Then you will have a solid foundation in which to compare and base your measurements.
I think my post came across wrong! I was more of just seeing if anyone had any interest in it because I had never heard of it, I’d never spend that much one something like this haha.
In my opinion it is good , because doing experiment is good policy . sometime the cost of experiment became higher but it gives new ways to development .
Can I measure my K70,which has over 400K intensity with these meters? All the other lights I have, are 160K max.
Because of the capital controls which we have here in Greece,I found that I can buy only from BG.So,can you suggest which of the meters in the following page is good for me please? light meter luxmeter - Buy light meter luxmeter with free shipping | Banggood Shopping .
