BTW yes, those are Malaysian made ones. Samsung moved its battery production to Seremban, Malaysia last year. EXPORT only so we’re not getting any for cheaps.

Simon is selling them, I saw this listed at his store. Any idea if all Samsung cells will made there, or only certain models are affected? How about LG then?
Yes the Samsung battery plant is located in Senawang.
Ask me how do I know. I worked as a product engineer in SDMA (Samsung Electronics Display, just beside SDI) before.
