So my cousin and I bought these flashlights from a vendor known here and his seems to have a problem. He Sent me a text with the symptoms.
“Sometimes it turns on in strobe then other times it turns on on high but after 3 seconds it goes to strobe by itself and won’t go to anything else. Sometimes it turns on right and I can cycle it until it hits strobe but when it does it won’t cycle out.” Does this sound like anything any of you have experienced? I told him to check that everything is tight, and that there is good lube on the threads and to make sure his battery is charged and he says all is good. Any info you guys could provide would be appreciated. Thanks
A poor battery contact or a poor/ dirty spring/threat/ driver contact: everything should be disassembeled , cleaned with alchohol and reassembeled again for best results- that included all major solder joints if possible : this will take much less time than searching, and will eventualy prevent a future problems caused by dust, grease, old solder and so
If that wont help then a driver swap will be needed
