The copper mcpcb is thick, I have mine torn apart right now, gonna put an MT-G2 with a fet in it. I’m not at home right now to measure the thickness but I know it’s as thick as 2 noctigons stacked…if not 3.
Very nice price, my favorite thrower. I ended up putting mine back together and adding an XP-L HI instead of the dedomed XP-L…it has a nice tint now.
Did you measure output before and after? I read somewhere the HI emitters weren’t quite as potent as a dedomed HD variant, but I’d be interested in your experience.
I don’t have anything to measure it with but I can assure you that the dedomed XP-L out throws the XP-L HI. It just has a greenish tint that I don’t like. It still throws like a champ though.
Okay, thanks. That’s unfortunate, I really dislike the dedomed tint as well, and I have a couple nice 4000k XP-L HIs sitting in the parts drawer that have been temping me….
call me weird but I love the greenish tint on mine……
