Description:
Created for the professional user community, the M7 utilizes a PMMA lens and its exceptional light transmission capability. Designed using precise spectrum analysis, this light presents a homogeneous beam and creates an even, dark spot free, glare free light zone. Perfectly suited for parts examination and reading or any task requiring close-up illumination. The M7 can be set for two levels of output (High & Low) for its wide illumination area. Compact and light weight, with a length of only 12 cm, the M7 is easy to carry and use anywhere with the included pocket clip.
The unibody construction of the M7 gives it a high rate of heat dissipation and shock resistance, complementing the built-in multiple tiers of protection system, including low-voltage warning, reverse polarity protection, and over-discharge protection. "Eye of Heaven General", the Eye of Wisdom, will watch over the hard work you pour your heart into.

Directions：

Open the tail cap by twisting counter-clockwise, insert a charged quality 18650 lithium battery with the positive terminal towards the bezel, and tighten the tail cap by turning clockwise.
The flashlight has Reverse Polarity Protection, the light will not be damaged by batteries inserted in the wrong orientation, but it will not turn on. If this occurs, please check the battery orientation.
Fully press the tail switch until "click" is heard to turn on the flashlight. Each time the flashlight is turned on, the default setting is "LOW".
When the flashlight is on, half press the tail switch to cycle between LOW and HIGH output. Fully press the tail switch until "click" is heard to turn off the flashlight.
When the battery voltage is too low, the flashlight will flash 2 time as a warning. When the flash is given, please change to a new battery.
After the first flash warning, the flashlight will operate for approximately 5 minutes as a safety measure.
After 5 minutes, the second flash warning will be given. After this warning, the flashlight will shut off automatically.

This ‘even’ beam feature is a very useful one if you need sharp, no-spill, round cut-offs. My old, battered Led Lenser K3 has similar feature (though adjustable focus):

So basically we have a 2 mode zoomie that doesn’t zoom, puts out 350 lumen of probably cool white 70CRI green tinted light, and the retail price is over 50 bucks…
You can buy a nylon belt pouch for 18 bucks to go with it…

IMHO, 353/114 lumens are too much for close up inspection work. There should be a third low mode with 10 lumens. I’m not sure if Weltool is a premium brand like Acebeam. I think that even $ 35,00 is quite an ambitious asking price for a flashlight with these specs. Is the lens that expensive? Why is it rated IP67 only? If there’s no USB-port it should be able to withstand IP68.

With that wide angle and even beam it could work out. They only spec it to 117 cd for the 114 Lumen mode, which is roughly 1 cd/lm. For comparison what TK measured for the D4:

I measured about 3.3 to 3.5 candelas per lumen, which is typical for a compact multi-emitter TIR optic. For comparison, a “mule” pure flood light gets about 1 cd / lm, a common reflector-based EDC light typically gets about 5-8 cd / lm

Agreed. And I doubt that the lens is that expensive - there are those cheapo zoomies out there with similar plastic lenses and they do a decent job as well for those low output LEDs. There is other interesting stuff in the description as well:

I don’t see why a 300 lumen light of that size should have any problems with heat dissipation in the first place.
