Holy Close! That’s nice!
I love photography, I really need to brush the dust off my old T3i
Wow! That is incredibly macro lol. That is very cool. Nice shot!
Thank you ...
2013 was spent learning the ins and outs of Macro
I admire your skill, but close-ups of insects are pretty disgusting.
That is very impressive, takes alot of patients to capture great photos like that
Very good work indeed
That is one very nice shot. As trooplewis said, pretty disgusting. How did you train it to sit there long enough to take the picture?
Strange that you should mention that… I was just talking to a fly and he said close-ups of humans are disgusting… J)
Lucky you only asked about humans. It would of been a different answer if you asked what he (or she) thought about closeups of Texans.
What do you call a fly with no wings?
A walker.

Nobody knows… Texans are too big for close-ups…
Some times they take off and some times they hang around for a picture ...
Just depends on luck .
And yes , some insects are pure disgusting ...
Long legged Fly ...
Nice Nice Nice!
can you tell us how you manage to get these shots?
how long did you wait.. did you use a remote shutter release?
Did you go up to the fly, or did you just wait until 1 came close enough?
wow, really nice! more!
Great macro’s, and as you used a flash they fit right in
Cheers David
I just wander around looking for a photo op , waiting ? = Im not patient enough for that ..
Just got to look and see what is around ..

2/ Just look around , find a subject and snap away
3/ I dont have much patience - No just use the regular shutter button
4/ No I hunt for them . then try to get as close as possible .. Some insects take off , some hang around for the photo ( its a bit of pot luck )

it seems that you went the budget route (BLF) and got a few very interesting items..
and as you see, they work well..
Oh.. yes, the Promaster is the same as Vivitar/Soligor/Phoenix and is 1 of those difficult to find budget jewels....at least for Canon.
