Making 1 mode Trustfire XML-T6 model Z1. Possible or not?

I have removed driver module from Trustfire XM-L T6 1600LM (Model Z1):

it looks like this:

is there a way to make this drive one single mode? I need single mode fro hunting. 100% brightness on and off.
I have ordered couple drivers from dealextreme (1 mode), but wanted to know maybe there is way to make this drive one single mode.

you mean trustfire z5 zoomable?

Change the driver. That's the best way.

If you put more than 8.4v sometimes these turn to 1 mode direct drive.

But this is risky, it my not work at all.
