Makita 6317D: NiMH -> LiPo | questions

Hiho!

I started a thread in another forum, but I want to cross-check my research :wink:

I have a Makita 6317D - with 10 year old batteries (NiMH, 12V, 2,6Ah).
So, I want to change the batteries to LiPOs

They said, that more voltage is no problem for the motor, so I chose a 4S battery.

What I want to buy:

Charger: Radio Control Planes, Drones, Cars, FPV, Quadcopters and more - Hobbyking
Battery: Radio Control Planes, Drones, Cars, FPV, Quadcopters and more - Hobbyking
LiPO buzzer: Page Not Found - Aliexpress.com
Cable-Adapter: Radio Control Planes, Drones, Cars, FPV, Quadcopters and more - Hobbyking (2 to the plug for the drill, one pair for charging laying outside)

I will use one of my old batteries and fit the LiPO in it as good as possible (it will stick out a bit, so i chose the pack with the case).

So… Will this work?

I have one of the 14.4V 3” trim saws that I picked up for cedar shingle work but the rest of my tools are 18V liion so I picked up a makita block adapter from Sandwich Shoppe and fitted and wired it into the 12V handle. These motors can be overdriven and it turns a weak pos into a more potent tool that doesn’t bog down so easily.
