Markings on base of Cree LED

I know that the T or the < denotes the anode.

But is there is a difference in revision depending on the design? I only ask as i ordered an XHP70 of KaiDomain which came with a T on the base and a month or so later ordered another which had a < on the base so I’m wondering if this is from a different reel or older stock…?
