McClicky staying on when off?

I ordered 4 Mcclickys from IS as I wanted to replace them in my solarforce builds. They are very senstivie which I am okay with as the rubber boot provides enough resistance.

The problem I am having is that the switch will stay on after I click it off. It happens maybe once every 10 clicks. I initially thought that maybe the rubber boot was pushing on the switch enough to activate the momentary on since they are so sensitive but without the rubber boot, it still happens. I have already heatshrunk around the base to prevent retaining ring to short the switch.

EDIT: The staying on issue might just be a defective switch. I’m going to install the other switches and test them out.

So initially I had already widen the hole of the retaning ring to prevent a short and added heatshrink to make sure there would never be a short but there was still the problem.

I just installed the 3 other switches (with and without heatshrink) and they all perform flawlessly. I think the switch is just defective so I’ll just contact IS for a replacement.

EDIT: I was ready to make a video to show the problem but IS is sending a replacement, no questions I asked. Awesome CS, one of the few retailers that I would order from over and over again.
