4 modes and no mode memory, always turns on in moonlight.
Cannot detect PWM (swinging or camera).
Build as nice as Jet-I MK but threading is nicer, so you don’t have to untwist head as far out as the I-MK to securely turn off. Threading came lubed but slightly dirty. O-ring size/thickness is fair.
Pocket clip keeps rotating in the groove and is a real PITA, makes one-handed operation next to impossible. Clip also grazes the knurling on head while rotating or head tightening/loosening.
Beam is cool white (has a very slight tinge of green) and hotspot is wider than that of Jet-I MK but runs cooler than the Jet-I on max mode despite more lumens (probably due to XP-L HI vs XP-G2 efficiency?).
Tiny gap between head and SS bezel is an eyesore (2/2 samples).
Opinion: I really miss the mode memory feature that the Jet-I has, don’t really know why Jetbeam messed with a good thing. This thing is really well-built though. Despite the XP-L HI and more lumens, this cannot out-throw the Jet-I probably due to a shallower reflector and the orange-peel. Spill areas of beams are similar with the Jet-II being brighter generally, across all modes.
