If you’re getting the output you wanted, may I suggest skipping more LEDs and going for bling? This build looks great already, but I think it’s a good candidate for an exposed driver. Take a look at Mattaus’s Medusa project to see the sort of thing I’m talking about. My Medusa You don’t have to use a custom PCB, you could just mount an existing driver up there. Some tidy wiring and you’d have a great conversation piece IMO.
I think we’ve all spent some amount of time (at least a little, maybe a lot) explaining our custom lights to muggles (as ToyKeeper rightly calls them). Having a visible driver with components on it has got to help out with that. If it’s a driver you assembled yourself, so much the better!
