I needed a strong glass at a low price and I did it in this way:
From DX I bought this, it’s a 30mm. /1,18in colored glass, but it’s cheap, relatively to the thickness (3,2mm. / 0,125in).
To remove the color I used acid to unclog / free up tubes sink.
I left the glass in acid for 3 days (the time depends on the type of acid).
The result is a perfectly clean glass, suitable, for example, to LZZ-F15
