I’ve never modded one of these but there’s plenty of info in the forum from other mods. Three will have XP-L HIs and two will have dedomed XP-G2 S4 SBs.
I put a FET+1 and an S2 2B in mine awhile ago, and it’s really nice. Very soon I’ll be opening it back up to do the tailcap switch addition. Looking forward to your results!
I need to get some stuff in order to post results. I may have to send someone one of each to test for me because I’d sure like to know what I accomplish.
I’ve heard those are impossible to mod unless you made the proper sacrifice to the photon gods. So just send two to me and and I’ll make the world right again.
The 5 leds pictured above will not light up when connected directly to an 18650, protected or unprotected, am I doing something wrong?
Were they reflowed in the correct orientation?
Are you using the right pads on the mcpcb? Not all the +’s and - ’s are connected on those
I ordered them from mtnelectronics, like they are. I tried using the plus and minus on the side with the notch cut out.
