MODE SWITCHING on Qlite REV. A vs Star Firmware (ontime memory) vs Star Firmware (offtime memory)

So I’m trying to find out some details on how the memory and mode changing works on all these three drivers before I order several drivers. Currently I’ve only done modding with the KD v2 drivers. With memory on, If I turn on the light and leave it in that mode for longer than a second or two, in order to switch to the next mode I have to double click. With memory off, it seems that the next click will always start in the first mode, so switching modes always starts from the first mode. Now my question is how similar the memory features of the Qlite REV. A vs Star firmware (with ontime memory) vs Star firmware (with offtime memory) are.

First with the Qlite REV. A.: Now it doesn’t seem that memory is able to be turned off and sets in 2 seconds. Now does that mean I will then have to click twice if I want to change modes if done after 2 seconds, or is the 2 seconds memory rule only applicable for when I turn the light off that it will start in the mode it was last on for this driver?

Second with the Star Firmware (with ontime memory): Same question regarding if I have to click twice after the memory sets while the light is on to get the next mode. If so, then will the option to turn off memory make this double click behavior go away? And if it does, then is it like the KD V2 where turning off memory makes it now always start from the first mode during mode switches?

Third with the Star Firmware (with offtime memory): Is this the only option to have single click mode changes while on? (but then I give up the ability to turn off memory as it doesn’t have that feature).

I wanted to clear this confusion up with myself before I order a bunch of drivers from rmm’s store.

Thanks guys!!

(EDIT: realized that memory off didn’t create a double click necessity while changing modes, but was just starting from the first mode. But since I was testing from the first mode it made me think that it was a double click. I’ve updated above to reflect this)

Off-time memory is disabled in the code by un-commenting out the NOMEM line, it’s like the 2nd or 3rd line of the code.

By far the best standard FW out for the 105c based drivers.

Edit: damn I missed post 1k by 15 posts!

Thanks for the tip Cereal_killer but I’m not looking at programming (maybe I should look harder into it), I’m looking at the different firmware driver options that are available in RMM’s store for this product: QLITE REV.A 7135*8 3.04A LED DRIVER - 17mm

I could’ve asked him directly but I figured some members may have some experience and input into any or all of these different firmwares.
