I took out the LED bulbs in the bathroom light fixture to see how they were, and if they had any rust, and also to wipe the dust off them as I found them dusty.
No rust, good, but I did find something else weird. It looks like they have moisture inside them.
The first two images shows the first bulb and the second two images shows the second bulb. I didn't take pictures of the third bulb because it didn't have any spectacular dotting or anything, but it still did seem to have moisture. The third bulb made a ticky sticky noise when I pushed the diffuser, so it seems the glue holding the glass diffuser has been failing.
These bulbs are 40w Equiv., 8.3w LED bulbs made by LightingScienceGroup and branded as eco-smart by Home Depot. These were some of our first led bulbs.
I wonder if that moisture could be troublesome?
