More L2M worship and some Greased Lightning too.

I agree, for that I could pretty much have an hd2010, xintd c8 and an apex st6 which would cover me for most things.

thanks for the link. good deal on the L2M. still bigger and more expensive than a 501A, but probably better and more consistent quality.

OMG….Foy you need to please stop with the pictures. The flashlight porn is getting me in trouble! My wife ‘heard’ me looking at these pictures and though I was looking at pictures of Jerri Ryan again!Excuse me, but I need a smoke and a shower now!Damit…I didn’t even smoke until now!

Foy, you never cease to amaze.

Oh, I would spent $100 on an L2M like that. GORGEOUS torch and setup (A001 head and stuff). My SF lights all look and feel like they easily could have cost $100.

Thanks again, Foy.

Like anything else, things add up (semi)unintentionally. It starts out innocently enough; E puts up a seemingly harmless link to a great P60 flashlight value. $11, he says and true enough, Solarforce does sell this quality piece for that small sum. Spending a Franklin on an L2M was never the plan but over the past couple of years, I usually "piggyback" an extra item on my Solarforce orders. I will be ordering a host or several hosts for people that have purchased a light from me and will simply add a single tail cap switch or some other accessory to that order. I feel little shame admitting much of the cost of these dopamine liberators was absorbed by happy, satisfied friendsslashcustomers.

When my L2M's arrived I already had the S9 switch and A001 head, et al but nevertheless, these prices were paid and it would indeed cost $97 to build the light pictured. This newly acknowledged information (by me, at least) so startled Foy, he was moved to write the above and of course, Foy possesses narcissism sufficient for the task.

Foy, you'd better start saving. I just wrote Solarforce. An O-L cosmetic modded L2m or Masterpiece Pro1 ??Undecided Time and Solarforce will tell if it ever happens.

I think you need to stop with the photographs. Laughing I'm supposed to be a Maglite guy

That L2M with the A001 head is a beaut!! I'm also with you on the blue tailcaps. They look great on silver and SS torches.

+1

And now you’ve done it again, you’re evil, evil I say! Just had to get that L2M and some of those switches, and some bezels and …
Well you get the idea, I’m sure.

L2M . . . and I absolutely cannot wait to see the result.

It’s been awhile since there have been any L2M photos posted so I thought I would add my latest.

Sorry I forgot to mention that it looks like Solarforce is transitioning out of the P60 flashlight business. Their parts inventory is very small now so if you need any parts better grab them now.

Interesting. The website is new since I last saw it, but you’re right, stock is dwindling and lots of items have disappeared.

I wonder what their plans are?

How do you know their stock is dwindling? I don’t see why they would get out of p60 style lights. P60 is like all they know.

Many of the stock parts and pieces are no longer listed. I like the P60 in regular as well as the L2M version. It has pretty good light for it’s size and I can easily fit an L2M into a pocket whenever I go out.So I’m buying what parts I need to keep my lights going for a while. They have started selling backpacks. I thought the might just be migrating to larger lights with multi-LED’s but nothing new so far.

My first lights were P60 Solarforce models because I couldn’t afford Surefire.

If they are really pulling the P60s an important part of flashlight history comes to an end.

My all-round, everyday-use workbeater is still L2T.
Might just grab one host for stock then. Thanks for heads-up!!

Some years ago, back when “ready led lights” had a bit iffy modes and such stuff, I used to assemble Solarforces for my friends.
Maybe 10 or more of them, cannot remember.
