OK, so I tested one of the triple spacers tonight in the S5. It works, and will work with a protected cell. The total stack height is about 0.8mm longer than the stock setup, so there is a tiny bit more gap between the tube and the head. This can work to your advantage with a longer cell, but it is easy to to take 0.8mm off of the pill+spacer if you don’t like the look (I don’t think it’s bad)

Just to clarify: did you measure, or did you actually try a cell? Some people are reporting that the issue isn’t length, but that the diameter is too small for a protected cell.
