Showed my partners’ Dad my Thrunite TN36 and he absolutely loved it. Perfect for lighting his whole (very small) farm house even on medium when the generator fails. Or obviously working around the farm at night.
Only thing he didn’t like was having to take out four 18650’s every time he had to charge it up.
So basically I am asking if there are any lights with multiple emitters and multiple 18650’s WITH internal charging or a charging dock.
SUPBEAM / ACEBEAM come to mind, but I’ll never recommend them to anyone again with their internal charging epic fails, plus he would form factor / flood you get from a soda pop style light.
Thanks for any suggestions that are eluding my lazy brain today.
Wow that’s a pretty awesome price. The only thing I can see him not liking is the touch screen for brightness controls with his rough, callus hands / fingers.
Sunwayman T60CS. Been around a long time, but not budget. I have one, but not with the charger. It's a pretty sweet light. I don't know if the charging is safe, but I would think it would be coming from Sunwayman. It's a 3S light if that bothers you. SB did a review of one here:
Still considering options for him…didn’t want to spend big dollars like the TM26 or TM15, do good quality SRK’s exist anymore? I know it doesn’t have the built in charging, but I used to own one and it was pretty awesome.
