I should be getting my 4th Keygos KE-5 today and I sure hope it is a blaster like the rest of yours. I guess I just keep getting the bad ones.... I know ILF has a really good one and so does Pounder his runs at 4.2A Well wish me luck, cause this is the last one I buy!!!
Rick, wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to just replace the driver in the first one? :~ ;)
I've never done that????? I wouldn't know what to order or anything.. I'm guessing I need to learn it would save me alot of money...............
I have 3 or 4 to practice on !!!! could you tell me what I would need? 1-mode direct drive could I do that?

I took the 3 I have here apart and all 3 look different on the inside I will take pictures......
which is the best light? KE5 or xintd c8?
KE-5 can be brighter for 1 or 2 minutes, then it sags to below XinTD levels and gets too hot.
XinTD is regulated, it will stay at high brightness for a long time.

is quite common....no way of telling the amps from that.
SC PCB is always either 2.8A or 1.4A in my experience.

Ok, got my 4th KE-5 today and it's alot better!!! When it got dark, I took the new one and the best one I had out of the 3 and it smoked it like night and day. So I compared it to the T601 II cause I have been telling Brad ( ILF ) that he needs one and he said he's got the KE-5 I said it will smoke it....Well I was proven wrong tonight as I finally got a good KE-5, Thanks Brad.

Now you see why I had such a problem when I got a new one and it was junk, there is no certain order except for the top one is brand new.
actually a fresh cell just gave me 4.8a...more than my 980l..I cant even give this to a coworker who ordered it..its just too hot for a non flashaholic...ill have to buy him something else out of pocket...
4.8 will that run and not burn up?
