My current situation & quiet activity-

- Over the last month or so, i have been going through some stress with my other half, (relationship woes) along with job work over-loads, it has all kept me a little more inactive for most of the fall. I am working on rebounding, but will take some time and a couple more months before i can get back on an even-keel again & be more active. I do still have a number of reviews in the works, and hope to get them posted as soon as i can. (one more for Olight of the amazing S1R, two headlights for Neal of Banggood, (Nitecore HC60 and Imalent HR20) and one TD26 dive light for Thorfire.
In the mean time i will work on these at time will allow, and try to keep active here as much as i can until i can get life’s tornadoes settled down.

- Den

Hey man, sort out all your personal problems 1st. Family always comes first. We are just an Internet community. YOU don’t owe us an obligation. I wish you all the best!

You can always hang here when you need friends.

Take your time!

we can wait - life can´t...

Well said!

Thanks for letting us know, we’ll keep the light on for ya!

Take it easy. Your personal real life takes presedence. But we all love you too.

Hope things get better soon, DBSAR!

You know, sometimes work overload can cause stress on relationships (my wife tells me that ALL the time :)!).

Later,
Jim

And even when you need people (blf n00bz) who have no idea who you might be.

As a parallel to work- vs home-life, something I mentioned to someone was that no one ever had etched on his gravestone “He always got his projects in on time and under budget”, but instead, things like, “Loving father”, “Devoted husband”, etc.

Those are the important things in life.

(loving father, devoted husband, and valued BLF-member  )

Folks who take it easy on the hobby when life requires that, last longer here on BLF

I battle the desire to stay involved here as well. My issues are health related and though some of the things I ve been going through can only be described as morbid, I am blessed as I have steadfast relationships surrounding me. Do all you can to love and be loved before any other effort. We will stand by you and you have my prayers!

Without the important people in your life, life is meaningless no matter how many lights you have to play with.
We’re here for you when you can return and for anything we can do for you till then.

Best Wishes!
Phil

I’m going through a similar situation… Made me lose the interest for many projects (flashlight related and non), including my competition light for this 4th annual build. Hope to pick it up soon before I forget about it entirely.

Hope things get better for you too DBSAR!

I’ve got a dear friend in need so I’m outta here on a road trip PDQ- either at sunup or in one more day. No word on the ETA yet, hopefully within an hour. Cancer has taken their Fiance which we expected, the rapidity we didn’t expect. It’s people that matter most, so let’s focus on them first

Life before lights, the lights will still be here when we’re all back in action again. And we will be here again- keep the faith!

Phil

Best wishes to all of you going through stuff. Unfortunately it is part of life, and I’m pretty sure all of us understand. Hang in there, and try to stay positive, and optimistic. Most bad times are temporary, and it will get better.

Events in our lives can be cruel sometimes, but if we don’t go through that, you are not living a normal life!

Wishing you the best, my friend. I’ve been through it myself and no doubt, it’s hard but you’ll make it through. We’ll be here when you are ready. I’m going through a stressful time myself right now, different this time, and I feel like a rubber band stretched to breaking. Take it one day at a time and you’ll be fine. It’s all we can do. We’re here for you if you need us.

Best wishes getting through the rough-patch.

This is where the old and new guys weigh in and say, “we’re pulling for you, buddy”.

And keep your stick on the ice.

I am a relatively new member without four digit numbers of posts, but I share with most everyone else the dilemma of bailing out water in the ‘Life Boat’ we may be in.

Dude, hang in there and take care of life! We will still be here!
