This is my first DIY p60 drop-in.

I have started with empty drop-in from FT.

inserted NW xm-l2 emitter in place:

inserted the driver in place:

After soldering the leads, the drop-in is complete.

Comparison with Ultrafire XM-L U2 CW on left to XM-L2 T6 NW

Nice work! I’m lovin the warmer tints these days.

Those pills have very poor heat dissipation. I solder on driver side 3mm of copper to make pill insider thicker to better spread heat.
