So I built my first double sided driver. a 20mm Texas Avenger.
Based on advice in another Thread I had posted, I ended up using hot air to flow the 7135 chips on the bottom side of the board.
I got a little over zealous with the solder paste on the top side of the board, so I had to do a little touch up with my c210 iron with an SI tip. I’m not sure I would be able to do this kind of work without my microscope.
I’ve been battling with Atmel Microchip Studio 7 trying to compile hex files, to no avail. Thanks to help from @INeedMoreLumens I was finally successful. Although I’ve now invented about 20 new swear words and have a little less hair.
Now that I have a working hex file, I am going to backtrack and do all the proper calibrations. OTC, batcheck etc and rebuild the hex as needed.
But first I am going to build a proper test sled, with battery holders, led on a heatsink, switch etc.
