This is what I have so far. Just the milling outline, the 16mm t-place outlines, the 10mm pads(need to set ID to 0?) with vias, I outlined the 3 pads with tangents and arcs but need to fill in the pour, and 3 large vias for brass posts/screws. This is just the top side of the bottom pcb. On the bottom side the pad vias get connected to one end of the switch and two of the large vias will bring ground from the other end of the switch up to the driver. The third via will be reserved to bring B+ to the tail of the light for future mods. I made a library part for the Omten1217 switch that will go on the bottom.
What is it going to go in?
in view do you have it set to mm or inches?
I always set milling layer to .1 mm
+1. Why not 18650?
Maglite D bored out to 35mm+ for 3 x 16650’s. I set it to mm. I filled in the pads, how do I fill the rounded triangle with copper?
What’s the OD of a 6/32 screw?
Trying to use poly and trestrict to reshape this circle to the rounded triangle.
I’ve got the poly enclosing the shape but what now? I couldn’t make out in the video what was done that deleted the excess.
.1372". 3.43mm. Could be wrong but I think this is right. Good luck on the design. Just from experience with the AA holder I built you need a centre pole as well to stop the batteries pushing each other through. Shrugs shoulders and wanders of to have tea.
I’ll put an unplated drill in the bottom for a headless nylon screw(has to go under switch) on the bottom pcb and plated for a brass screw on top(head fits inside of spring.
At the left there is a autoroute button, the button next to it the “ratsnest” button, looks like an X, it is next to the auto or autorouter button
