My most Authentic Beam Shot Ever

Santa got me a new camera as an early Christmas present and I have been playing with settings and seeing what the new camera will do in different situations.

Tonight I decided to take the most authentic “Beam Shot” picture I have ever taken from 24 yards away , first at regular focus and then at 30x zoom from the same spot just to see how well the camera did with the zoom feature at night.

Here is the result……….

Authentic Beam Shot (Regular focus)

Authentic Beam Shot (30x Zoom)

Hahaha! That’s good.

Hahah this is the best beam shot I’ve seen.

Thanks

Glad ya like it Miz

You have a good steady hand, you must have taken these shots before you started drinking.

Very, very nice robo. I feel another new hobby emerging here. Did you have a tripod? Whats the camera? Manual mode?

Taking many shots of Jim Beam will get you very drunk.

Actually I don’t drink , quit in ’93. My wife has a drink occasionally and that is her bottle that has been in there for at least the last 7 months…lol

I used tripods for both the camera and the light. I don’t know about a NEW hobby but I have definitely been taking more pictures than I used to with the point and shoot. The new camera is nothing fancy , it is a Sony DSC-H300 and yes I did use manual settings.

I only take the shots…not the SHOTS…….lol

So good, and creative! My bottles don’t last seven months. To accelerate things, and in your honor, I am going to take my own Beam shot right now, pictures not forthcoming.

Cheers Cab

Best “Beam” shot ever

Phil

Thanks SM

It seems this Beam Shot is more popular than I thought it would turn out to be……

Hahaha, that’s a good one!!

A while back I did this with my DSLR
Used full frame 24-70mm
Maybe next time 16, 70 and 200mm shots with 2 lenses?

But what light did you use? :stuck_out_tongue:

I´d like to have that “Beam”-shot set as reference ! Cheers !

Nice robo! Glad to see the new Sony getting more comfortable to you. Maybe it took a little loosening up and 2X shots are usually easier anyway.

Thanks Dale.

Still got a couple of things to figure out , but at least I have gotten this far with it.
