Oh and my zoom changed on the Olight SR51 and zoomed out. I tried putting it back about where it was on the M3C3, but I’m a little more zoomed in on the SR51 shot. But there is no doubt about it the EagleTac M3C4 is brighther. Now that may just be that EagleTac made this one a little hotter, but I’m guessing the new ones will be driven about the same with this updated driver.
You can also tell which one is brighter by looking in the grass right before the pole or the pole itself. That’s what my eyes seen as well for the outcome of the barn on how well it was lit. I’ll add this 1.2 sec shutter is just about deadnut to what I see. It seems to tell it more like it is at the 350yd shot.
The ET is the winner….
Yep M3C4 has more lux (look at the white barn).
I told Rick last nite on the phone that the EagleTac M3C4 I now have has become my favorite flashlight. This one is bright. And I love the rotary ring and the overall quality and feel of this light. I would even pick it over the Fenix TK41. And that is saying something.
Updated driver? By you or did ET finally do it?
Rich
ET sent him a whole new head.
Yep! And I would bet this one puts out over 50,000 lux.
For me the the eagletac m3c4 is not bright enough for the 130 bux they want. Even with the upgraded driver.
