A halogen bulb is still very bright in the warmer parts of the spectrum, compared to any LED I’ve seen so far (that means it must be me… :wink: )

I wonder how the 209 stacks up against incandescents. I have never seen a 209 in person (yet).

Hi Music, are you referring to the Nichia 219? The 219 H1 B11 has wondrous tint. It varies a bit from emitter to emitter, but it is generally slightly rosy. May not sound good in words, but take my word for it. Most people that try it fall in love with it. I did. It's better than ican to me.

They have a new emitter high CRI 219 that is cooler, has a lower Vf, and can take more current. I like it better for outside.
