So when I bought this house it had a cheap Chinese flashlight in the attic.
Well since I got my charger today I thought I would see what can be done for the battery.
Turns out it is a 26650 sized battery in a purple wrap with no markings at all.
I place it in the charger and the charger says it is NIHM and hitting 1.55V(max) it took only 13 mAh and was full!!! Mind you this battery has sat in the junk draw for 3 years and no telling how long in the attic lol
I placed it back in the light and nothing…
WTH is this thing

I would discharge it in salt water and then recycle it.
I don't know, but it's powered by one of these guys:

What about the light? Did you fire it up with a different battery?

I put an 18650 in and it lit right up!
How about a Picture of the battery? That would be a good start!

Already gave it to my neighbor, he is going to the recycling spot on Monday.
It literally is just a purple wrapped 26650 with a 4 “prong” top.
Not one marking on the wrap and I didn’t unwrap it.
