So, you have your brand new Emisar D4. Wouldn't it be nice to put a clip on it? Ah, but alas...we would not want to damage the anodizing, now, would we. Allow me to introduce the Mystery Clip®Patent Pending which was discovered on April 1, 2018, after many attempts to find a solution. The first picture is the light with the clip. After wearing the light around for a little while....then removing the clip....all still seems to be in order. No lost black anodization. The second picture shows one side, clip removed. The third picture shows the second side, clip removed.

Sorry, I was not able to insert the photos of the two sides after removing the clip. Here are the links.
Side One
Side Two
Individual clips are available from me for $99.99 plus $6.99 for shipping and handling to CONUS..
If you purchase two, the second one is $75 with no additional cost for shipping.......
Just kidding....check out the date the Mystery Clip design was discovered.
Get a hold of a Convoy S2 clip.
Then get some Plastidip Primer....only the Plastidip Primer will work...one coat is enough.
Apply only to the circular halves...those are the only parts that touch the light. (I used painter's tape to mask the rest of the clip.
I have never seen it at Home Despot but you can get it from Amazon: Primer
The black Plasticdip is available at Home Despot. I used the can, not the spray and applied it with a cotton swab....a small, disposable foam brush is preferable. Allow the coat to dry. Apply several coats until the two circular halves are now each perhaps 2 mm thick....it has to be thick enough to withstand being pulled when you put the clip on and off. I don't know how many on and off cycles it will withstand because I did not test it. I would imagine if you like having it clipped, you won't take it off. If the coating does tear....just put more on.
I once coated an S2 this way....makes for an interesting non-slip coating....if you don't use the Primer it will come off easily.
Please note that the management is not responsible for any untoward results :-)
Happy Clipping
