I just ordered a Nightwatch A54U. It has four of these emitters. After spending a bit of time with Google, I can’t sem to find any data on it. Can anyone help me out?

N5-160HPE is a 5050 LED customized by Nightwatch, consisting of 4*60mil chips.

Wow, that looks very impressive! Is the voltage known though? I assume it is 3V, but it could have a slightly higher VF than the other leds, falsly making it seem superior.

Neal made a mistake in the name of the LED. The Nightwatch A54 uses N5-165HPE, and this 5050LED include 9*45mil chips（≈13mm²）, which have better performance than the N5-160HPE.

Absolutely VF is not high. If VF is very high, it is impossible to achieve such a high current with single battery.

Nightwatch has not used ChangDa LED for a long time, and the new LED series are all produced by better LED packaging factories

Sorry, I don’t know which factory produced these leds.Nightwatch has his own chat group in “Tencent QQ”, where he will publish new leds and drivers, and these data are posted by him in the group. These things have attracted many flashlight enthusiasts in China.

pretty impressive if it is accurate. Any info on the CCT he uses? It has to be 6500 or higher, right?

The dotted part looks like it was fitted out in Microsoft Excel, which I don’t think is very informative. This datasheet can use the solid line part, is the actual test data.

I’d say the ChangDa LED equipped lights ended with the NI03S. The Lw55, A15 and the A54U all use these new leds. So far, they seem to be better performers to the ChangDa San’an leds. I’m testing the A54 and Lw55.
