Hey guys, I have purchase this driver (NANJG 105C) for my flashlight, but I need to know where can I get a longer spring. The one that came with it is to short and the old one from the other driver is to wide to fit in its place.

Be careful with Nanjg 105C drivers. Don’t breathe on them or look at them wrong.
I had a nearly-finished Mag build, and was doing the final tweaks last nite (wiring fitment, electrically insulating the driver, focus, etc). Reassembled and WHAM-O. No light…everything except the driver was working :party:
Three 105Cs from 2 different vendors have died on me inexplicably, but only one due to my actual incompetence. I’ve never killed any other drivers, but I seem to have the worst luck ever with these :weary: (how about a smiley for “jaded?” No? Whatev.)
Same experience, and I’m VERY careful with electronic components. I work on things every day where single components cost 700, 1500, sometimes several thousand dollars (we’re talking a single chip), so trust me, I know how to be gentle. These things blow up for no particular reason. I haven’t even been able to figure out yet whether it’s the AMC7135’s that go, or whether it’s the ATTINY13 - They’re just not expensive enough to justify much diagnosis time…
The NANJG, to be honest, is my driver of last resort… I really don’t like them much…
I have made over 200 lights using the Nanjg 105cs and in my experience the 7135 chips are what goes they develop small cracks in them when overheated. The other problem with these boards is they are so small it’s easy to get a small blob of solder where you don’t want it causing major problems.
I’m pretty sure that in most cases the 7135’s are grossly under heatsinked and placing them back to back with a 10w heat source just makes things worse. The spec sheets mention using up to 1000 mm2 per chip of copper trace area for heat sinking. Yes, they work but it’s like parallel LEDs at high current or series lithium without balancing or Russian roulette, failure is not just an option, it’s a design feature.
