Need a flashlight to learn how to open

Hi guys,

I’m learning about flashlights, its components, and possibly potting. Can you recommend me a flashlight that’s cheap ($10 or less), and can be disassembled/reassembled?

Convoy S2/S2+/S3 should suffice. Great for modding.

I’m not modding yet, just learning to disassemble, assemble, and identify components first. Replacing LED emitter, driver, and potting, will come later, so I need something expendable.

All Convoys are good for learning, but at first choose something easy to open (not glued parts) and of rather simple construction (w/o side switch or additional lightened components). Still I’d recommend S2+ most. And you meet your price requirement (9.99 dealz can be found here)
