Hi, i aquired an old Led lenser from a co-worker a few years ago, i dont even know the model because its not marked. Its built like a tank, survived many drops on concrete up to 5m. But one day the led turned blue and died quickly, so i switched it out with an 1w random led from ebay and its been working ever since. Now i am curious about modding it. I have been looking at drivers from kaidomain but i dont really know what the best option is since its a big hassle to fit another LED where it sits now. Is there an option to keep the led and only add a driver? I have a small workshop so i could do more modifications if needed but i dont have much free time. I measured the current and its 180mA.
I keep it in the car and it sometimes reaches –30 when i use it. The most important thing is durability and runtime. I will add some pictures.
