Currently, the brightest light I have is a TR-1200 with this dropin
I love it! It’s bright and has a nearly perfect beam for my needs but it’s a little old. Are there any lights with a similar beam but substantially brighter I should try? Something in the $50 - $75 range?

Wow…that thing if you kicked it up to 2800 or even 3A per LED (if your batteries could handle it) would be a BEAST!
I wonder if that dropin suffers from the same issue as P60’s, need to wrap it with aluminum foil to ensure good heat transfer
Maybe I should just get a better driver? Have any suggestions?
