Need help deciphering tracking information

Hi guys,
This is the first time I’ve purchased an expensive torch from China…I paid for it on the 15th October, still haven’t got it yet.
I’ve never tracked an item before, can someone explain what this means?

I don’t know what NULL means, but it’s at PVG (Shanghai Pudong International Airport).

WOW. It was mailed on the 18th October and it isn’t even out of China yet?!!

All the tracking I’ve had that said NULL was returned to sender, but it may just be someone lazy/forgot to input the correct value.

How long do people have to open a PayPal dispute and get their money back? Is this the way I should be thinking at this point in time?
What would you do if this was your $160 purchase?

I’m tracking several packages at the moment by HKPost and ChinaPost that have been in China for much longer than yours. (17-24 days) I always end up receiving them. Sometimes they show up at my door while the tracking shows them in China. This is a really slow time there, post wise, with all the new shipping bans.
Hold tight.

Thanks for posting, that made me feel heaps better

I have one ordered on the 15th, showed ‘shipped’ on the 16th, tracking number came alive on Nov.1 saying it was posted on October. 28th….??? From what I can gather, it’s languishing in Hong Kong. Not dead. Simply resting.

Who knows? Because China.

I’ve elected to become very Oriental in my thinking. If it comes it comes, if it doesn’t it doesn’t.
Either way I will not freeze in the dark. At least not as long as this magnificent bottle of Strathisla single malt holds out.

It has been less than a month. I wouldn’t personally be worried until the 35-40 day mark. I would probably send some sort of communication to the seller around Day 35, or a few days after the estimated shipping time. I would open a paypal dispute around day 41.

Great information, thank you.
Patience isn’t my strong point…but lesson learnt, I could have paid $30 or so more and had it overnight from an Australian seller with local warranty…sigh
