Need help finding extremely shallow reflector or optic

I am trying to fit an 18650 in a shorty L2m while retaining the rear-clicky. Obviously space is very tight, so I need help finding a very short single optic or reflector. I’m not too worried about beam profile, very floody is fine. I honestly might be fine with a mule beam profile, but I just think mules look tacky and unfinished. If need be I could easily switch to an 18500 or use the 24mm quad optic, but I really only want a single emitter.
.
It needs to be 26-28mm diameter and as short as possible, definitely under 10mm tall.
.
Anybody have any ideas?

Cut off a regular P60 reflector.

I thought about that, but I don’t have any precision tools and I’m not good with hand tools. You want to cut one for me and mail it up here?

I’m also worried about emitter wire clearance since the opening at the bottom would be much bigger than usual.

I suppose I could also use a fixed aspheric lens. Though it would have to be very shallow as well, I don’t want to change my bezel and the light must headstand.

Sort of a non-conventional optic but it is the size you need it, may work depending on what you want.

Very interesting. I must have missed this because it is listed as “multiple” instead of single. It’s really the perfect size.

I assume it would work just fine with a single LED instead of a cluster. Maybe some extra artifacts?

I guess it should work, but will be floody with anything, 64deg with XP-E. In contrast some Carclo multi LED will be you a much narrower beam at the same height. (e.g. 10508 24deg with XP-E2)

I was willing to take a shot with that one, but I can’t find it in stock anywhere

I can find it in stock

good! care to share? I googled it and checked mouser, digikey, farnell, arrow, ebay and a few others I can’t remember the name of. They all came up as non-stocked or backordered.

Also by Google search, it is in stock here.

Good find. Now I’ll have to decide if it’s worth the $10 shipping.

for others reading, I’m still interested in other options as well!

Yes, touching the wires probably would be an issue.

A while ago I bought some Carclo TIR but don’t used them yet:

or maybe these:

But all of them have about 10mm height, maybe there will be shorter ones…

cut of regular reflector and polished it via plexi polisher to revert to the original transparencies at the first time

before cutting almost use very extra sharp blade for cut and just care about you finger while do it and do it carefully

you can use surgery blade that can give the blade in drugstores (surgery tools) salesroom

i hope that i could help you
