Got this new zoomie. Hate the modes and the light color but love the size and form factor. Would like hi medium and moonlight maybe a turbo if it could be snuck in. And I’d like the light temp to be close to my DQG tiny 4th. Can anybody do that?!

I have one on the way with the intention of modding it.
The only problem really is that the host isn’t worth the price of a new emitter.
Very likely but I have plenty of donor emitters kicking around. Will probably be a cheap car light with 3xAAA for me.
I’d put the money in it just to have what I want. Lol
Could you show pics of the internals? Depending on how it’s made inside it may or may not be moddable to be a decent light. Thermal issues are typically the key as well as ground issues and a poor switch. So at some point, it may be simpler to buy a better light to begin with if virtually everything will have to be replaced. If the threads are good, if the switch and tail cap are decent enough for some amperage, if the pill design/emitter shelf is capable, then by all means mod away and enjoy it.

With the title asking for help “from someone that knows what the they’re doing” I think I might qualify there. But if the light is going to be built anyway, why ask? Just build it and show it and (hopefully) get the image size reduced. 
It’s not like most of us here that mod haven’t modded virtually everything… use a toilet paper tube and make a light, sure it can be done, but SHOULD it? (speaking of… the toilet that I fitted a 35mm long 3mm trit vial into got broke and is now glowing sweetly out in the shed. ugh. yes, I cut a groove in the porcelain to hold a trit vial. The idea was to help potty train my boy. lol)
Think of it, build it, show it. That’s how we roll here on BLF…. (pictures or it didn’t happen)
