I don’t see why you’d get an XML HD2010 when you can get an XML2 XINTD X3 for less.
I dont see why hed get either of them when his budget is $70 and at this price he can get a Maxtoch with superior quality and throw.
I'm not trying to put him off a Maxtoch, it's just I don't own one so can't personally recommend it. Sounds great from what others have posted.
It is great, I had many flashlights and Maxtoch SN6X-2X have one of the best anodisations i’ve ever seen
The c-8 platform I have some really heavily modes c8s and a c12 with a pure copper pill 12 sacked 7135 chips putting out close to 4 amps driving a demoed xml2-u21, I really want to step up in lights .
If you dont want to wait SN6X-2X will be some step up. But to be honest - ‘leaftye’ is right, wait a little, save up anoder $20 and get BTU Shocker. Its great without mod and real beast after.
The Super Shocker that OP is talking about starts at $165…
If you are going to consider the SNGX-2X, you should also consider the Olight M3X.

we tend to ignore or push the limits of any stated budget in terms of

OK, The HD2010 is great for $25, the Maxtoch is better but 3 times the cost, the Shocker is even better but over your budget, and you can get a Thrunite TN31 XM-L2 for $100 which is better for throw than all of the lights mentioned. The more you spend the better the throw.
If you don’t mind the drama (and cost) of guessing if you’re going to get an EAST-092 driver (and possibly having to return it, maybe several times, until you do get one with an EAST-092 driver), then go for the HD2010 (you’ll probably want to get one at some point anyway, if you stick around here). Otherwise, get the ZY-T08.
your olight sr51 are this better or the same of the TN32 dedome ?

ZY -T08 modes for the MTG2 although it isn’t the same as xml2-u21a demoed it puts a huge wall of light and Peters out after about 200 yards , choice choices and a anemic wallet , kinda why I was afraid to start the topic but I was hoping there was some new budget thrower then again everyone has a different view of what a budget light is .
Start with the HD2010, you can’t go wrong for $25.
As a comparison the new Olight m3X at $93 is rated at 580 meters, which calculates out to 85kcd. The new Maxtoch 2X at $75 has factory spec of 120kcd at 10m, and my own tested at 112kcd at 6m = 670-690 meters. Quite a difference - much of it due to the Maxtoch’s bigger 68m head/reflector.
The new upgraded Maxtoch SN6X-2S now rates round 90-95 kcd, and the little 26700 batteried M12 rates at 98kcd. The nearest Maxtoch equivalent to the Olight M3X is their lightweight 2x18650 M24S. This with recent factory tweak runs at about 95kcd - for $67.
With the BLF mods standard the factory maxtochs are high performers. Quality v good too.
