Need help with Bistro firmware

hi, folks.

reviewing Mateminco X6S, i faced rapid stepdown in upper modes. so, i guess, i have to calibrate thermal sensor.

ok, i enter config menu with taptaptaptaptaptap...wait for 5th blink and tap once more. and...when then? i see some blinks. then flashlight simply doesnt turns on

with other UIs i simply click # of degrees, like 25 clicks for 25 celcius. and what should i do here?

i asked Toykeeper, he didnt reply. I couldnt find any helpful info about bistro firmware as well, besides pic of manual scheme (which i know anyway).

so, what have i do to calibrate thermal sensor in Bistro firmware?

txs in advance.

I think thermal calibration is 7th buzz

Bistro doesn’t provide a temp readout so calibration doesn’t require entering a specific temp like on anduril. All you do is enter thermal config mode, the light will turn on full output with throttling disabled (just run flat out 100%). Simply enter this mode and wait for it to become hot, when it’s as hot as you feel comfy with turn it off setting that temp as it’s maximum set point.

oh, man, thanx! that totally explains everything to me.

it;s different from FW3A/anduril, let us know if the directions don’t make sense
also, toykeeper is a ‘she’.

wle
