Bueller...? Bueller...?
No one interested in fixing the K65?
Contact Vinh at skylumen54@gmail.com
He can do it with no problem.
Thanks mate.
I love to see this here at BLF, Thanks ” FlashKat ” for taking time to help.
I just found out why I can't remove the screws. It uses the security Torx tool which I have but won't work because the screws are filled with epoxy making it tamper proof.
Did the maker did that or the hacker?
The gist of this problem was that the LED has the wrong color temperature. It's supposed to be 6500K (on the box) but it's too yellow. My Q8 is 6500K and very white (great light guys).
I doubt he will want to mess with it. I should sell it as a modder's toy.
Vihn loves stuff like that. I would definitely reach out to him
Thanks CNCman….This is what our community is all about!!!
I guarantee Vinh will be willing to fix it plus you can let him know exactly what color temperature LED you want. It all depends on if you really want to spend the money to modify it.
I had him modify my Acebeam K60 with an upgraded LED I bought used just because I like the magnetic control ring.
Have you tried contacting Acebeam service.
They may fix it for free or just pay for the parts.

customers should contact the authorized dealer or distributor from whom they bought their flashlight.
Acebeam provide dealers with the technology and parts to service our flashlights.
You think Acebeam would honor the warranty if it's been tampered with? I don't even know how old it is.
I bought it used from Nitetorch and I didn't know it was used til later.
