I would like to buy 10 convoy s2+ to build for Christmas presents. Where would a good place be that would be a one stop shop for host led driver and swichs. I would like to have some prefabricated parts i could just sorder the leads on and do the spring buypass and what not . Thanks for the help

I have not been around much the last few years, so cannot give much accurate information, so hopefully others will help out soon.
I assume Simon of the Convoy shop ( AliExpress?) would be able to help you out. I used to get emitters and drivers from Fasttech, not sure if there are better suppliers. I think MTN electronics would have lots of stuff for you locally… Hope this will help in some way

Saw this is your first post, or thread, but assume that you have been lurking for a while.
There are some things I like to express.
- sure, building lights is lot of fun. You are asking for a one stop shop for hosts, drivers and led’s.
Then Simon is the place to be. But isn’t it easier to buy lights off the shelf and modify those to your wishes?
If you buy separate drivers and led’s from Simon, you will get the same parts he sells in his ready made lights.
And on top of it: I bet a ready made light is cheaper than the sum of its parts (shipping etc).
- Who are the people these lights are meant to be a gift for? Here in BLF we are very keen on safety.
Personally I would not recommend giving a light on Li-Ion batteries to a first time user.
And the type of flashlight you mentioned, is a Li-Ion only light. Fantastic light(s) by the way.
We are almost “fighting” for our right to buy those batteries, because they don’t ship them all over the world.
Not at reasonable costs, anyway. I hope you are not planning to give these critical items to newbies?
- Think of the additional costs, for the happy receivers of your lights (no pun or irony intended).
If you want to be fair to first time users, you also have to give them protected batteries and a simple charger.
A battery is about $10 a pop. A good one bay Liitokala charger will cost you $3 to $8, depending on …
And it would be wise to choose a model that charges no matter how you put the battery in. Safety, you know.

The majority of lights I have given away to family and friends, were of the kind with AA or AAA batteries.
Those batteries can be bought at every gas station, and don’t explode (easily).
The Li-Ion lights I have given away (outside BLF) all came with protected batteries and a charger.
Unless the light had a USB connection. Of course.
I’d wait for a gearbest deal and jump on a7$ Complete light and them buy a few emitters and drivers to mod them with.
seems as though there were more deals from these vendors already and black friday was just sort of the beginning of it . Like a lot of things you may have to buy what they’re selling instead of making a wish list. I’m fond of buying lights thst are too cheap nit to buy ... vendors will alaays make crazy good deals available just to keep intrest up . The trick is knowing when to jump
