A friend of mine works at this company. The actual contract, legal licensing right(s) and distribution model is different depending on where you live or in what market you sign up with the service. This is very different in Europe when compared to CA/US, since copyright law isn’t as flexible as people roaming the globe. There are 150+ Netflix regions.

The change in actual content is something I can not help you with, though (I don’t have Netflix).

When my European friends change their IP to the US, they don’t get all the US content for free since Netflix has one of the most sophisticated VPN detection and blocking systems in place.

I guess you’ll have to try and see which ones work or if any work at all.
