No experience with this one. Another eBay seller has a picture that shows the switch incorporated into the battery carrier; I like design simplification.

AWESOME!!!
i’ve been waiting for this SO anxiously - all this time i’ve resisted 5x, 7x, 9x in physical serial config ![]()
I mean, I’m not bidding on that, w/ $30 shipping, but this means we’ll probably see these show up at reputable dealers…
thanks for posting!
edit: OK, this is tempting. $71.69, free shipping, same dealer. Anybody purchased from ‘redlog’? http://www.ebay.com/itm/7T6-7x-CREE-XM-L-XML-T6-LED-8500Lm-Flashlight-Torch-BORUIT-Z-001-/150967097899?pt=AU_Sport_Camping_Hiking_Lamps_Torches&hash=item2326571a2b
edit: same price from go market and ctwo

Nice light, goofy lookin battery carrier but that said I'm sure it's a flood monster if properly driven. It looks like a light I've seen before but I can't remember which one, cool styling though.
i love the styling - I think there’s an ultrafire w/ that tailcap style
if I could confirm the KD 7x driver would fit I’d buy this right now. I doubt a 9x version would have an emitter arrangement that looks as sensible
edit: now, if someone would just make one that is 4x18650 - or 3x26650 - with a detachable handle, like the terminator’s, in addition to a side switch on the body, I’d be in flashlight nirvana
Im a fan except for the low med hi modes just turning off LEDs.
So low is 3 mid is 5 and hi is 7.
I hadn’t noticed - that’s kind of odd, but interesting, in as far as it makes we wonder how that works, electronically.
not sure if i’d like that or not, but i’d be looking to swap the driver in it anyway.
in this kind of light i want modes for
KD driver would be pretty close to those - i just need to know if it fits - and if that switch can handle the current…
Actually, these are the same person, Chinese retailers do that alot. I have bought from redlog for 3 years, good seller. Remember, these guys all do budget shipping, so expect to wait 2 weeks or more for delivery. All Citipower resellers are also, good, and the Citipower T6s are good budget lights:

I owned and have gifted all of the above (small torches), excellent gifts for the newbie flashaholic
you own the long 7x light, not the short one, right?
Correct, a 52mm head and a 72mm head 7x T6, and a 5x T6 Sky Ray, and Trustfire 3T6.
All long: 52 and 72 take 26650 or 18650, and the Sky Ray and 3T6 take only 18650
I have. Great seller!
So is go market.
Go market and ctwo are the exact same seller.
if i’m gonna order one, i would definitely order from ctwo… i have good experience buying from them before… they’re real dealer and fast shipping too ![]()
Seems like it would cause uneven aging of the LEDs…
Very nice looking. Someone try this and let me know the output. Super cool-looking light!
Probably, but might this be more efficient in the modes that it has? Instead of the power passing through some resistor circuit to reduce power and losing some power in the process, it'd just a simple on/off circuit. Unfortunately that possible gain in efficiency would have to overcome the inefficiency that comes with higher current levels.
i suspect the current to each led is <2A, so aging would be kind of irrelevant (at least 20k hrs?)
i don’t know enough about circuits to comment on the efficiency -
if they’re in series, the driver must change the total voltage, but we don’t know if the current also changes.
it looks like there must be room to fit the KD driver in there, but i don’t feel like risking $72 to find out. yet.
verrr nice! i too have passed up on the 5, 7, 9, and 12 leds. but this is getting very close to what i have been waiting for. something not as long and more compact flood monster.
i really do like the looks of this light also.
will have to wait and see…
I’m holding out for the 16 LED, 9 18650 side by side with 5 mode, battery indicator, carry handle 12000 lumen monster!
Give it 3 months.
